12/21/20 - This is an very nice example of a Walther side by side shotgun made in the Zella-Mehlis factory some time before WW2. It has various pre-war proofs, including "Nitro" and "Crown N". All parts have matching serial numbers except the small metal piece that holds the foregrip on. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition, retaining most of its original bluing. There is wear and spotty oxidation on the front half of the barrel and wear on the high edges of the receiver. The metal parts have engraving patterns on them. The most noticeable are duck engravings on the sides of the receiver. The wood stock is excellent. The gun is fully functional. The bores are mint. 28.5" barrels, full choke, 14" LOP (to the rear trigger).
