6/3/21 - This is an excellent example of a 1916 DWM Luger Rig. It was initially manufactured in 1916, was issued to the Imperial German Navy, was reworked after WW1, and then issued to the Nazi police force during WW2. That is evidenced by the "1920" rework stamps on the chamber and back strap, an added police sear safety, and police unit marking on the front strap. It also has the proper Imperial Navy proofs on the left side of the slide. The gun is all matching and comes with an excellent 1929 police-style holster, an imperial luger tool, and two matching-numbered WW2-era magazines (numbered at the police arsenal). The gun is in excellent condition, retaining 97% of its bluing. There are areas of wear a the base of the straps, side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Pin-pricking on the straps. Comes with excellent waffen-proofed grips. It looks like the left panel has a hairline crack that was glued. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.
