7/3/18 - This is an interesting Police-issued Erfurt luger that may have seen use in both wars. The gun is all matching with mostly Erfurt parts, but the receiver was likely added at the police arsenal as it is not dated and the font on the serial is different. The right side of receiver also does not have the usual military acceptance proofs, as this gun was likely reworked between the wars to be reused. Both magazines are numbered to the gun in the police style, numbered 1 & 2. Police sear safety can be seen over the sideplate. There is very little finish loss but there is little surface freckling in a few areas. The grips are numbered and matching to the pistol. The bore is excellent.
