8/20/20 - This is an original Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi police around 1940. The left side of the trigger guard is "Police E/C" marked. It has the earlier high-polish finish and checkered mag release button. The gun has retained roughly 80-85% of its original bluing. There is minor muzzle wear and areas of spotty wear on both sides of the slide, underside of the trigger guard, and front strap. The back strap and back of the slide is thin. There are a few light surface scratches on both sides of the slide. Very nice original grips - just a few minor dings. Comes with a proper wartime magazine. The bore is excellent - very shiny with strong rifling.
