6/18/19 - This is a terrific example of an Inland Paratrooper Carbine, made in September of 1943. It is a type 1 example with original stock and correct (six digit) serial range. The stock is the high wood variant and shows obvious age and wear but no major flaws or cracks. It has the common indentations on the left side where the folded stock presses against the wood. P in circle proof on the back of the stock and IO proofs under the handle and handguard. Original cheek pad and correct IA magazine. The metal parts show excellent original finish, with almost zero finish loss on the receiver or barrel. Rear sight has no signs of staking and the barrel has never had a bayo lug. Mint bore.
