11/25/20 - This is an original late WW2 variation P.38 magazine. The left side of the frame is stamped "P.38v U". The U stands for unhardened metal which was a late-war manufacturing technique used to speed production. There are no other markings. The spring is excellent and fully functional. The original finish has minor wear and appears to be phosphate instead of bluing. Nice piece.
