8/12/20 - This is a WW2 Nazi NSKK Walther PP from around 1938-39. The is gun would fool most, but it is a superb restoration of an original NSKK pistol. It is in the correct serial range for the NSKK contract, so it is authentic, just not the original finish. Whomever did the restoration did a masterful job. Most notable is the slide legend - it maintains the crisp markings, and the NSKK symbol is not dulled or filled in. The gun has the correct grips and a postwar finger extension magazine. The bore is very nice - shiny with strong rifling. NOTE: The magazine in photos is original but was swapped with a postwar example.
