2/25/21 - This is a very nice example of a Walther P.38 rig issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs. The rig comes with a nice 1944-dated pebble-grain holster and a period-correct Walther magazine. The magazine was numbered and X'd out. The gun has an experimental copper finish, giving the frame and barrel a gorgeous plumb color to it. It has retained about 93% of this finish. Most of the wear is on the front strap. There is also minor wear on the high edges of the slide and one are of discoloration on the left side of the slide. There are a few small spots of wear on the barrel. Excellent grips. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
