10/12/20 - This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs on the frame, slide, and small parts. It is fully functional, including the de-cocker. It has a beautifully plumb-colored barrel and frame. It has retained about 95% of its original bluing. There is minor wear around the muzzle, the high edges of the slide (especially the right side), on the tang, peak of the trigger guard, and thinning on the front strap. There is an area of light freckling on the front left edge of the slide. It comes with excellent grips and one period-correct Walter magazine. The bore is shiny with great rifling - just some minor freckling in the grooves.
