3/15/21 - This is a very nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in September of 1944. All numbered parts are matching, and it has the proper "Eagle 88" military proofs. The barrel is un-numbered but made by Spreewerk. Could be a factory replacement, but we can't say for sure. The gun has retained about 92-93% of its original bluing. There is thinning on the front strap and minor wear around the muzzle and front edges of the slide. A few small areas of discoloration on the top of the slide and barrel. There is a very faint inscription scratched into the left side of the slide - barely visible. It comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is not functional.
