3/17/20 - This is an all original M1935A rig, manufactured by SACM (Societe Alsacienne Construction Mecanique) in Cholet, France. It is Nazi-marked E/WaA251 on the left side of the slide, making this the more common 2nd variation model of these pistols. Overall, they remain fairly scarce for German Army pistols of that time, with only about ~24,000 produced. The serial dates this one to the earlier end of the range, likely produced somewhere around 1941-1942. The original finish rates at about 95% with some wear near the muzzle, on the trigger guard and the edges of the front strap. There is also some minor freckling on the edges of the right side frame, and left side slide. Terrific bore and excellent grips.
