9/19/19 - This is a very nice example of a Nazi Mauser Luger P.08, made in 1939. It has a Mauser "42" code and is properly "Eagle 655" Waffenamt. Overall, we would rate the finish ~92-94%. There are minor handling marks here and there. Most of the finish loss is around the muzzle, on the side plate, on the right side of the frame under the inspection proofs, and very minor thinning on the straps. The grips appear to be original but are unnumbered. The previous owner has hand-written his name on the left grip panel. All numbers are matching. The gun comes with a non-matching, period-correct magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling. C&R eligible.
