1/23/18 - This is a Hungarian Femaru model 37 that was issued to the German army in 1941. Early in '41, the Luftwaffe placed an order for 50,000 Model 1937 Femaru pistols in caliber 7.65mm. These first contract pistols are identified by the 'jhv 41' marking on the left side of the slide. Of those '41 dated pistols, this is a subvariation 4, with E/WaA58 acceptance stamp on the trigger guard. This pistol is all original and matching except for the magazine, which is numbered to a different pistol. The finish rates at 80-85% with a nice profile view but little finish remaining on the back strap. Very nice grips with no major flaws. Mint bore.
