1/26/21 - This is a Nazi-issued model 98k that was made in 1943 at the Gustloff Werke factory. All numbered parts on the rifle match, including front band, receiver, bolt assembly, trigger group. Stock is unmarked but likely due to sanding. The original finish is in good shape overall but some general thinning throughout. Butt plate is marked 'brg'. Terrific bore. Cleaning rod and sight hood included. Stock has no cracks or chips.
