9/4/20 - This is an interesting commercial Navy (Style) DWM Luger with interesting 3 digit serial (056). Best guess is this one was completed after WWI from left over parts; and we believe it has both Navy and non-Navy parts, perhaps making it a 1920 Commercial Navy that was reworked or completed by DWM or another firm after the war. The serial number is odd because we are not aware of any Navy luger with a 0 prefix, so again, was likely put together from DWM parts. The Luger has just one Navy proof on the barrel, and no Germany export marking. All numbered parts are matching, except for the magazine which is mismatched and not the Navy variation. Grips are not numbered. The gun has some obvious wear, most notably on the straps. Excellent bore. Magazine base has small gouge in it. Grips are worn but no cracks or chips. If you have information to add on this "mystery" luger, please let us know.
