SOLD - Minty Walther PP - Reich Justice

2/6/18 - This is a near-mint Walther PP, manufactured in 1940 with Eagle/N proofs.  The RJ on the front strap is the distinct characteristic and the marking is under the original bluing.  The original finish is about 98%, with some edge/muzzle wear on the slide, and some finish loss on the bottom of the back strap. Minty bore. It has the correct weighted grips and original magazine.  RJ PP's were issued to the "Reichs Bureau of Justice", or in other words, the courts, judges, guards, etc.   Probably rarely used other than annual "qualifying trials".
