10/2/19 - This is a near-mint Smith & Wesson Victory model revolver with S&W factory letter accompanying the firearm. The gun has about 99% of its original finish, though there are a few areas of minor oxidation on the frame and cylinder, and an area of discoloration on the cylinder. The factory research states the gun was part of a United States Maritime Commission Contract and was shipped in February of 1944. The gun has all matching numbers including the barrel, frame, cylinder and grips. Mint bore and barely even a roll mark on the cylinder. Excellent grips with no major cracks or chips. Beautiful case-hardening on the trigger and hammer.
