5/15/19 - This is an exceptional example of a desirable and hard to find M1 Carbine, manufactured in late 1943 by Saginaw Gear. The receiver and barrel feature minty original finish, with sharp markings and minimal flaws. Barrel and receiver are both Saginaw marked. Gorgeous stock with sharp crossed cannon cartouche and SG maker mark. Only flaw is a crack on the left side that extends from the butt plate. Mint bore and original sling. Magazine is KSG marked, which is correct for a Saginaw. P in circle on wrist of stock. Proper unmarked type 2 hammer. Saginaw produced less than 7% of the M1 carbines manufactured for World War II.
