10/23/17 - This is an all original and correct Remington Rand 1911A1 from 1943. It is in near-mint condition, with 99% original finish remaining. There is minor finish loss on the muzzle and high edges of the right side slide. FJA inspector mark and P proofs found on frame and slide are correct, as is crossed cannons cartouche. 'HS' marked barrel. Strong bore with minor frosting but no pits or corrosion. 'R' marked magazine and excellent grips.
