SOLD - Minty Presentation 1911 Colt - 1966

9/11/17 - Here is a virtually unfired, brand new condition, Colt 1911. It was made in 1966 and came to me via a former Colt employee who said they were factory presentation pieces to recognize employee service to Colt.   The pistol comes in the original Colt marked case. The gun is a nice combination of Matte and High Polish finish. A beautiful piece. Original finish rates 100%. I did some research to verify the background of the gun and could not find another. If any of you Colt collectors have additional info, we'd love to hear from you.  Note that one clasp on the box does not quite fit perfectly over the knob to close the lid.
