10/2/20 - This is a minty example of a Walther P.38 rig issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The rig comes with a mint, 1944-dated holster and two period-correct magazines. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs. It is fully functional, including the de-cocker. The gun is in minty condition, having retained about 98% of its original bluing. There is very minor thinning on the front strap, a spot of discoloration on the top plate, and a couple of very small areas of wear on the high edges of the slide. There is a small spot of wear on the safety lever. Some spotty oxidation visible on the front strap. The bore is shiny with strong rifling. Excellent grips. The holster looks unissued.
