4/28/21 - This is a minty example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. The gun is "United States Property" marking and has the proper cross-canon military cartouche. The slide is not numbered (correct for this year). It has a Colt 45 Auto barrel. The gun has retained about 98% of its finish - just a hint of wear on some of the high edges of the slide. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there are some areas of minor pitting along the top of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a WW2 magazine. The bore has strong rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
