10/8/20 - This is a minty example of a Colt 1911A1, issued to the US Military in 1943. It is "US Property" marked and has a cross-canon military cartouche on the tang. The slide is numbered and matches the slide. This gun has retained over 98% of its finish. There is a hint of wear around the muzzle and a few scratches from the takedown lever. There is some freckling on the top of the slide toward the muzzle and one small area of pitting around the muzzle on the underside of the slide. It comes with excellent grips and a correct magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor pitting in the grooves.
