9/24/19 - This is a near-mint Colt 1911A1 from 1942, with 98-99% of the original parkerized finish remaining. There is minor finish loss under the slide stop but the pistol has hardly any wear elsewhere. Correct WB inspector mark, with P on slide and frame. Slide is numbered and matching to frame. Correct Colt barrel with large 'G' under the lug. Excellent grips. Bore is shiny with strong rifling and only minor signs of use. The magazine is an earlier two-tone example.
