7/16/21 - This is a minty example of a 1942-dated Mauser Luger that was issued to the Nazi military. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military proofs. The chamber is dated 1942 and the toggle has a 42 Mauser factory code. Since the Mauser factory never made Lugers with this combination, we believe it is likely an end-of-war put-together. It has retained more than 98% of its bluing. There are hints of wear on some of the high edges, a hint of wear on the barrel, and some very minor handling marks on the front strap. Comes with excellent grips that are mismatched and Imperial-proofed. Also comes with a period-correct mismatched and re-numbered magazine. The bore has great rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
