8/11/20 - This is an excellent Walther Olympia Jaeger Pistol made in the late 1930's. The original design was actually developed for use by the German Olympic team who used it during the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Germany won both the Gold & Silver medals in the 25 meter Rapid Fire Pistol matches during those games. The Olympia is a single-action, blow-back pistol with an internal hammer and push-button magazine release. This is the Sport Modell or standard variation, and was made after 1937 but before 1940 as it has Crown/N proofs but flat side barrel. It is chambered for the .22 Long Rifle and has a 7.25" barrel. This example has retained about 98% of its original bluing and still has the matching, numbered magazine. It also has the added weight set attached under the barrel/frame. There is minor high point wear but very little bluing loss overall. Mint bore and excellent two-piece grips.
