8/20/20 - This is a near-mint Colt National Match, all original and correct, that was manufactured in 1968. The pistol retains 99% original blue with just a tiny bit of high point wear and a small area of wear on the right side of the slide. Sharp, excellent grips and the bore looks seldom used. Grips have gold Colt medallion in each panel. The National Match M1911 Pistols are hand fitted and tuned for the National Match competitions which began at Caldwell, NJ and became the Camp Perry match. Among their numbers are some of the most beautiful and accurate pistols ever built. This one comes with a total of two magazines, and an NRA Anniversary presentation box in excellent condition.
