10/18/21 - This is a minty Beretta Model 1935 that was issued to the German Army in 1945. It's all correct and original with hardly any hints of wear to the parkerized finish. Terrific bore, grips and magazine. Jan Still's book on the axis pistols notes that a Beretta factory letter indicates the '4UT' marking found on the frame of this pistol as having been a "German acceptance quality control" and being part of a lot that was delivered to the German Army headquarters in Italy. Still says that nearly all of the '4UT' blank slide Model 1935 Berettas were used by the German Army.
