11/23/22 - This is a stunning example of a mid-war production Ithaca 1911a1 pistol that retains practically all of its original parkerizing with just a few tiny handling marks from shifting inside a box. All the markings are sharp with crisp ordnance wheel cartouche on the right tang. All correct, including the barrel and the grips. Excellent condition bore. Ithaca had the 3rd lowest production of 1911s during the war, after the Union Switch & Signal and Singer. 'L' marked mag.
