6/24/21 - This is a mint example of an end-of-war Walther P.38 rig, issued to the Nazi military in 1945. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs. The rig comes with a 1945-dated soft shell holster and a period-correct magazine. Some of the small parts have a phosphate finish - typical for end-of-war guns. The gun has retained virtually all of its finish with very minor spotty oxidation on the right side of the slide and front strap. Excellent grips. The bore is minty with just a hint of freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
