3/29/18 - This is a fantastic boxed example of an early 1960's production Colt National Match “Mid-range” pistol, built in limited numbers on full size 1911 frame, and chambered in .38 special Wadcutter for competition shooting. Essentially, a high end factory accurized target pistol, a .38 wadcutter gold cup pistol was as close as one could get to the the dedicated target gun without having to spend thousands on post factory modifications. This particular gun is near new and retains around 99% of its original bluing, and comes with paperwork, extra mag and an original box serialized to the gun. Excellent bore and grips. It seems that it spent most of its life in the dark corner of the safe, being taken out only to admire its beautiful finish and to dry fire a couple of times a decade.
