12/15/17 - This is a mint example of a Model 1906 Swiss luger. It has virtually no wear, and retains nearly all the original straw. This pistol was made by DWM to fill an order for the Swiss military, but the military didn't use these very much. The P.57 proof on left side receiver denotes that this was a private purchase piece. The Swiss shield logo replaced the earlier Swiss Cross & sunburst logo. The gun is all matching with all original parts. The minty grips are matching numbered to the gun with the last three digits of the serial, and the magazine appears to be in the same minty condition. The gun comes with a hard-to-find but original muzzle cover, which is marked H. LUTHY-ARMES-NEUCHATEL. The bore is mirror and minty as well. I don't think you can find a better example of a 1906 Swiss Luger.
