10/3/17 - This is an original 1900 DWM Luger, produced for the Swiss prior to WW1. One of the earliest production Lugers ever made, and this one is absolutely MINT! Early Swiss features include the "dish toggle", the wide trigger guard, the grip safety, no lug stock, and early safety lever configuration. After WW1, and prior to WW2 the Swiss released these pistols to the public for commercial sale, and hence given the "P 30" stamp seen on this pistol. A very cool piece of firearm history. The all original (Swiss) finish is about 99% with only some light edge wear on the frame. There is also light edge wear on the gold/straw finish of the trigger. Beautiful straw overall though with only light thinning. The bluing is nearly flawless. The grip screws are original fire blued and excellent as well. The grip is matching serial numbered "821" on each panel and in minty condition as well. Comes with an original Swiss magazine as well with metal discs in the sides of the wood base. The bore is minty as well with no notable wear or patina. Guaranteed original and authentic !
