5/15/20 - This is a nice example of an original Mauser Model 1914 pistol that was issued to the German Military, as indicated by the Imperial proof marking in front of the rear sight. Blue rates at 97-98% minor high point thinning, and a couple minor areas of pinpricking. Crown/U proof on slide and barrel. Bore is shiny with good rifling but has some freckling throughout. Wood grip has had been sanded or not original as the checkering is gone.
