SOLD - Mauser K98 Sniper rifle - byf 42

1/19/18 - This is a hard-to-find Mauser K98 sniper rifle from 1942 with original ZF scope.  The rifle is in good condition with mostly matching numbers, and includes a sight hood, muzzle cover and cleaning rod.  There is some evidence of renumbering on this rifle, thus the lower list price, and the magazine follower is mismatched.  The safety is the only part I'm sure has been renumbered, but the rear barrel band is a possibility as well.  The scope is original and the mount is waffen marked.  All other parts of the rifle are original, including the stock and the finish.  The bore has strong rifling but some frosting, and could use a good cleaning.  Scope optics are mostly clear.
