3/3/21 - This is a very nice example of a "Red 9" Mauser C96 rig issued to the Imperial German army in WW1. The gun comes with a reproduction harness, an extra magazine spring, and a period-correct numbered stock that is mismatched to the gun. The gun is all matching and has retained about 94% of its original finish. There is wear around the muzzle, high edges, and light streaks of wear on the underside of the barrel. The Red 9 grips are excellent and matching to the gun. The bore has strong rifling, but there is minor pitting in the grooves.
