3/22/17 - This Mauser P.38 is unique for 2 reasons. First it has the early Mauser "dust blue" finish similar to what is found on the byf 42. Also, the right side of the slide has mixed proofs; one being eagle 135 and the other waffen eagle 135. This anomaly is sought by collectors! The overall condition of this gun is excellent with excellent grips and magazine. The magazine is marked eagle 135. I would rate the original finish at about 97-98%. The bore is also excellent. Shiny and strong with a 9 out of 10 rating.
