1/15/21 - This is a fairly uncommon Mauser DSM (Deutsches Sportmodell) training rifle that was issued to the SA or Sturmabteilung, which was the Nazi party's original paramilitary. Sharp SA cartouche is present on the stock. All matching and original rifle. Stock is also marked '4.82' on the right side. Barrel is marked 'Ch.51', unsure the significance. Most of the bluing loss is on the muzzle and front band, and also some thinning and patina along the top of the receiver. Minty bore. Excellent stock.
