9/6/19 - This is an original WW2 era German leather map / documents pouch. These pouches were often worn by German officers during WW2 who carried important war documents such as orders, plans, maps, and positions. The interior leather has two ink stamps. One reads "A. Waldkausen, Koln VI 1936" and the other is "St. J.R. 21" There is another "St. /J.R.21 T" stamped on the interior leather (not in ink). There are no other markings. The leather is very strong and minty with a crisp, clean interior. The stitching is all original and completely in tact. There are pouches for pencils and erasers (with a lift strap). All original guaranteed. Beautiful collector condition.
