1/8/19 - This is an original Spanish Llama pistol made in the early 1940s and was later exported into Germany by Geco in 1943. This is shown from the "Geco" import stamp on the right side of the frame next to the serial number, and the "N" proof stamp on the left side of the frame. Research tells us that the "N" import proof was used by the Germans in 1943. Since this was during WW2, any pistols imported into Germany would only be meant for nazi party members, as they were they only citizens authorized to have guns. We suspect it was a rich officer who would have gone through the trouble to have such an item as this. The pistol is in excellent condition overall with only a hint of edge wear and some minor surface scratches on the slide. Strong frame and straps leave the overall condition around 97-98%. The bore has some light edge wear in the grooves, leaving the bore as a 9/10. Excellent original brown wood grips and one original magazine included. Guaranteed original.
