7/21/20 - This is a late-war Nazi Police-issued Walther PP made in 1945. It is of the fourth variation, characterized by no slide legend, red Walther grips, military finish, and an "ac" code on the right side of the slide. About 6,000 of these pistols were made. This one has retained about 96-97% of its original bluing. There is very little actual finish loss. There is very minor muzzle and high edge wear. The left side of the slide has some freckling and a spot of discoloration. There is minor freckling on the trigger guard and a few light scratches on the right side of the slide. Very minor thinning on the straps. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling, very minor frosting. Comes with excellent red Walther grips and a period-correct magazine. All matching.
