12/22/20 - This is a very nice example of an end-of-war, GI-assembled PP rig. This is a known and documented variation where the slide and frame are mismatched, no slide legend, and were assembled by GI's at the end of the war. This particular gun is in the correct serial range for this variation. The rig comes with two correct magazines and a nice Akah-marked holster. The gun has retained about 92-93% of its original finish. There is thinning and patina on the straps. Very light wear around the muzzle and a few spots of wear along the right side of the slide. Very light scratch on the left side of the frame. It has late-war wooden Walther grips. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
