12/22/22 - This is an excellent, end of war Spreewerk P.38. Serial dates it to March of 1945, and the rough machining and cog hammer also demonstrate its age. The gun is in nearly the condition it left the factory, with the important caveat that the front grip strap is thin and has clear casting flaws. This is very common for such a late example, and as the pistol's bore is mint, I believe it likely that the gun has looked like this since March of 1945. Good mechanics, including de-cocker. All matching numbers. Left grip panel does have a large chip in the corner.
