10/14/21 - This is a very nice example of a late and scarce Nazi Walther P.38 from March of 1945. There are only about 5,000 of this variation produced, with the barrel contracted out to Bohmische Waffenfabriken Prague's Stakonice plant, and coded 'fnh'. It's also a late example to be all matching but did not receive the third and final inspection stamp. It's all matching and original with excellent bluing throughout. There is very little finish loss overall, but a small patch of pitting on the trigger guard, and a little freckling on the right side of the slide. It also has desirable phosphate small parts, including the firing pin cover, slide stop, trigger, safety and mag release. Beautiful red grips and WaA706 / jvd marked magazine. Mint bore and good mechanics, including de-cocker.
