10/21/19 - This is an original WW2 era leather strap for a K98 rifle. The keeper is stamped "LEO SCHMIDT" on the back side. The clasp is unmarked. The leather is soft and completely in tact with a small cut about 2" from the buckle, but it is secure. The stitching is all original as well without issues. Guaranteed original.
