8/12/19 - This is an original leather strap for a K98 rifle manufactured during WWII. Maker stamped "amj" and "41" on the rear of the keeper stud. Date stamped on the rear about 3" from the clasp. The leather is excellent and completely in tact with no notable flaws. The leather retains about 95% of the original herringbone pattern. The buckle is un-marked. The stitching is all original as well without issues. Guaranteed original.
