6/13/18 - This is an original WW2 production K98 bayonet. This would have been used in parades / presentations as the blade has a shiny finish, and cloth red wool cloth where the bayo attaches to a rifle. The blade was made by Christianswerke and is marked as such on one side. Excellent condition. Comes with a brown leather frog that's maker stamped by "REINHOLD..." and is 1937 dated. The scabbard has missing paint but no dents. There's also an original portepee with grey, yellow, and blue colors. I'm uncertain which designation these colors are for. Excellent condition overall and all guaranteed original.
