5/26/20 - This is a beautiful, all original and matching K98 bayonet and scabbard. The bayonet blade almost is in mint condition with only a very small amount of finish loss. Maker stamped on one side and serial numbered "4335 i" on the other. The handle is properly waffen proofed stamped on the button and twice on the top of the pommel. There is light patina and surface wear throughout the pommel / upper area of the handle. The scabbard has a light brown leather frog that has the securing straps cut / removed (see photos). Doesn't appear to be maker stamped. The scabbard has no notable dents and some light discoloration and finish loss, but no major issues. Matching serial numbered to the blade. 1938 dated on the spine of the blade.
