5/5/21 - This is a nice example of a Tokyo Arsenal Type 26 Revolver issued to the Japanese military in the 1920's. This gun is being sold on consignment. The consignor put together a very cool assembly to accompany the gun that includes a labeled hard case, a repro Japanese flag, a 1931-34 Manchurian Incident Medal, and a Japanese WWI Siberian Intervention Medal. The gun is mostly mismatched but has all period-correct parts. It has retained roughly 65% of its original finish. There is spotty oxidation throughout. The cylinder has almost no finish. Thinning on the straps. Spotty wear on the barrel and both sides of the frame. Excellent grips. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.
