5/4/18 - This is a very scarce “foreign procurement” pre-war Japanese officer “Royal” rig. Prior to WWII, Japanese officers procured their personal sidearms from various sources, including Spanish handgun manufacturers. These are extremely uncommmon, as majority preferred either Japanese made or German made guns. Royal pistols procured by Japan had a secondary “rack” number stamped on them and came with very distinctive Japanese made holsters. This is a complete rig that retains about 92-93% of its original blue and comes with a holster and two magazines. Excellent bore. One grip is cracked and missing a piece. Easily fixed as any Royal made grip would fit. A scarce vet bring-back rig.
